Moutere hills

A boutique and beautifully rustic vineyard in an idyllic setting. Moutere Hills produces an extensive range of wines, well matched with the spectacular cuisine prepared from locally sourced produce and prepared by their in-house restaurant chefs.

For a more casual dining experience, Friday evening dining is also available in the Fox n Grapes bar adjoining the restaurant. 

The first plantings were completed in 1993. The vines are dry farmed on Moutere Clay gravels which give the wines a lovely fruit density, minerality and fine tannin. A minimal handling approach is taken in the winery, resulting in full flavoured, vegan friendly wines.
