The History of Our Nelson Tasman Wine Region

Renowned for its bountiful crops and orchards, Nelson's vines arrived in the mid-1800s, when German settlers planted the areas first grapes to produce wine.

Pioneering 1970s producers established the modern wine industry – with iconic names such as Seifried and Neudorf still going strong.
