“After a tough winter season for the Tasman region, our winemakers are looking forward to a positive evening with our community of supporters, celebrating our shared resilience and spirit.”

Meet the makers

Up to 20 local wineries from the Nelson Tasman region are excited to share their latest releases and crowd favourites with you. Meet the makers themselves while you get a taste of what makes our wines so special.

Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or a curious newcomer, our winemakers will talk you through the nuances of each vintage while you learn about the art and science of winemaking, and even how to taste!

“Great to be able to meet families behind many wineries and to sequentially compare the same grape from different producers.”

Taste the terroir

Try the best of our region’s award-winning varieties, all under one roof! Nelson’s reputation as a premier wine-producing region stretches back over 150 years, with diverse terroirs across the Waimea Plains, Moutere Hills, and Tasman Coast. Each area boasts its own microclimate, contributing to a stunning variety of wines, including award-winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and emerging aromatic varieties.

Pairing the wines, you’ll enjoy delicious delicacies on grazing tables throughout the evening, including local artisan cheeses and regional delights.

“OMG the food the was so much better than we expected. Especially enjoyed the cheese board.”
